The Musical Mouse Pad
The musical mouse mat is no ordinary mouse mat. As well as the good old fashioned mat functionality it also incorporates a USB hub, internal stereo speaker, internal microphone, connectors for audio input (and output) and last but by no means least a mini LED Indicator. What more could you want from a mouse mat?
Actually who ever leaves the craziest (but possible) suggestion to what else could be added to the mouse mat will win a $15 Think Geek voucher, the funnier the better. I’ll leave this open for 36 hours and do a poll in our gadget forum to see which suggestion is the craziest/funniest :).
The muscial mouse mat (as describe in the first paragraph) is available from Gadget Box.

Have a built-in sound of a ferocious cat built-in to each click to “encourage” the mouse pad to “run faster”!

Since it is Oktoberfest here , I would like to see the mouse pad with a beer holder / cooler(maybe powered from USB). It would be great if there was a sound to indicate if the beer glass is empty.

Maybe a heated + air conditioned one, sometimes that’s all you need to revitalize yourself!
It’s that or a break from the computer.

I would like a “post it note” musical mouse pad. Imagine if you could have the mouse pad that also could be used as a post it note. After you were done with the leaf you could remove it and have a new sheet below for your mousing pleasure.

How about a vibrate function. It could be used as a indicator for something or as a wrist massager.

Well with all the music features it has they might as well add… the Dancing Hamster (http://www.bigdancelist.com/dancing_hamsters.html).
Except, since it’s a mouse pad, they can make it a dancing mouse. (I’m rooting for dancing kung-fu mouse. Do doo-do do doo da do doo-do.)

How about a buile in fan (a strong one), that could blow air into your hand? It would feel nice when it’s hot, and if there would be a hot air option, it would also help when it’s chilly or we only want some warmth.

How about one with an LCD screen built in with an RSS reader so you can always catch up on Coolest-gadets.com bye just looking at your mouse pad.

It would be very VERY cool to insert an LCD touchscreen in the middle of the mousepad. You know… like that touchscreen bar table that was once featured in coolest-gadgets…

I would like to see a beer holder along with the cooler. It would also be great if there was a sound / indicator to tell if the beer is empty.
