Collapsible ladder makes for easy carrying

Check out Israeli designer Itay ‘s design of a new collapsible ladder which is held together by a strap under tension. This strap will act to tighten the entire ladder with a ratchet, forming two rungs of the ladder when assembled. There will be a loop in the strap itself that functions as a handle when the entire ladder is collapsed. Basically, the entire ladder works on a tension system which will relay on the ratchet to hold it without the need for screws or glue, and can be assembled as well as disassembled in a more compact manner. Interesting, no?
