Mili iPhone Projector 2
Ever wished you could share your recent holiday photos with your family and friends, but the iPhone’s display is too small, and neither will the iPad make the cut? Enter the £279.99 Mili iPhone Projector 2, where this unique device has gone through its fair share of improvements, ending up a full 50% slimmer compared to its predecessor, and in addition to that, is deadly silent even when operating so that there won’t be any irritating hum in the background that distracts anyone from your “presentation”.
All you need to do is plug in the iPod/iPhone (or other compatible video output device) and you’re good to go. It is capable of throwing up an image of up to 70″ on any flat surface - best if said surface was white, of course, so that the color will not run or look weird in any way. This LED-driven micro projector can display images of up to VGA resolution (that’s 640 x 480 pixels), where it will also be accompanied by a built-in stereo speaker and an AV slot.
MicroVision SHOWWX+ PicoP display engine
I decided to take a break on reporting on gaming gadgets, and focus on some other form of consumer electronics at the E3 gaming Expo. I always like seeing the latest in pico projectors, and I would have to say that the SHOWWX+ laser pico projector is one of the smallest that I have seen.
At a height of .55 inches and width of 2.36 inches, it is able to create an impressive image up to 100 inches in size, with WVGA resolution (848 x 480). According to the manual and what I saw at E3, it should “project on any surface, curved, moving or still, without having to focus or refocus”.
The battery is good for about 2 hours worth of use, and it is great for sharing videos, photos, and presentations in a 16:9 aspect ratio with a brightness of 15 lumens.

Hitachi iPJ-AW250N Ultimate Interactive Projector begins to ship
The Hitachi iPJ-AW250N Ultimate Interactive Projector is the latest model to be announced by the Japanese company, where it is capable of delivering the entire functionality of an interactive whiteboard - sans the board, of course. How does this happen without some sort of technological wizardry? We hope to explain it to you further below.
No pixie dust or magic is used when the iPJ-AW250N is in action, but rather, it will rely on infrared communication, where the iPJ-AW250N is capable of turning any flat surface into an interactive whiteboard. Of course, this will happen without having to make spatial sacrifices or being shackled by installation limitations of additional hardware.
Apart from that, the iPJ-AW250N will also utilize ultrasonic communication that goes a long way in overcoming interference issues associated with devices that communicate via the infrared spectrum.

Spice Popcorn Projector M-9000 phone
Spice has come up with a new kind of phone - one that is capable of projecting images from it to a flat surface elsewhere, freeing you of the task to tote around another projector in the process. We would say that inventions like this are more novel than practical, since it is going to do a number on your battery life, and you can’t really project anything that is high resolution due to hardware limitations. Still, let us not sideline the Popcorn Projector M-9000 phone since this is one of their initial efforts, so all encouragement should be given.
We do know that this handset is capable of displaying large images from a short distance, and throwing images isn’t the only thing which it is capable of. The handset will also come with various features including an FM radio, a TV antenna for your mobile TV needs (subject to area and reception, we presume), and a document viewer - enough to peruse through some work documents, but definitely unable to modify that Word doc or Excel spreadsheet.
The phone will also come equipped with a 2.4” QVGA display and a 3.2-megapixel digital camera, where you can view streaming content or display content that is saved on a T-flash memory card. The card slot itself is able to handle capacities of up to 16GB, and it does seem as though the phone will arrive in India first for RS 6999 (that is roughly $155 in American dollars) with no mention of a Stateside rollout.

Epson PowerLite X9 projector to the fore
Another day, another projector, and this time around we have the Epson PowerLite X9 that will target the education market without breaking the bank. Yes sir, this new projector is capable of delivering up to 2,500 lumens of color and white light output alongside XGA resolution for just $599 - making it a suitable addition as well to any small or medium sized conference rooms.
It is no surprise that many states in the US are already experiencing budget cuts, and one of the sectors to be hit pretty badly is the education segment, so it makes perfect sense for companies who deal with educational equipment to do their bit to help America out of the pit they’re in by lowering their profit margin and charging schools less for equipment - and we believe the Epson PowerLite X9 projector is one of such an instance.

Camcorder Projector hits Hammacher
Hammacher Schlemmer has had a long, 163-year history that delivers nothing but what they deem to be the best for home consumers, giving you devices and items that are supposed to make life at home more comfortable and convenient. Of course, in the face of ever changing technology, it makes perfect sense for them to deliver up-to-date gizmos and gadgets, and the Camcorder Projector is definitely one of them.
The Camcorder Projector is actually a high-definition camcorder which is capable of instantly projecting video or still pictures onto any flat surface as its name suggests. This will, of course, depend on whether the surroundings are dark enough, and whether you have a light colored wall (white is best to maintain the color shown of course). As to whether it will support full High Definition or not, you will need to read on in the extended post.
